Our Utah Juniper Hydrosol is a therapeutic plant water that contains all of the water soluble nutrients and some of the fat soluble nutrients (including trace amounts of essential oils), that are created during the essential oil distillation process, and shares many of the same properties.
Juniper is a coniferous evergreen shrub in the cypress family, and is commonly found throughout the western United States. The Utah Juniper sub-species grows on dry plains and plateaus around the state at elevations between 4,000-7,000 feet, and can live to be 650 years old.
This aroma of this hydrosol is intriguing because it changes as it ages; the fragrance has pungent sweet, fresh, spicy top notes, a coniferous, camphor-like middle range, and a deep, woody, balsamic base.
