Prickly Pear Cactus (also known as Paddle Cactus or Nopale Cactus), is a small edible plant that is native to the Southwestern U.S. and other dry, arid regions throughout the world. The round green leaves are often used in salads, soups, and other dishes throughout Mexico and Latin America. Likewise, the sweet ripe fruit (known as tunas), which are high in vitamins and nutrients, is regularly used to make candies, jelly, cocktails, and as a health supplement.
For this soap, we combine skin loving Prickly Pear Cactus fruit juice, with soothing aloe vera to enrich this bar, and scent it with lime essential oil to create a citrus smell that has subtle notes of pear and melon. With a mild aroma and gentle lather, this soap will leave your skin feeling healed and renewed.
